About Pursuit of Epic

HaileyHi, I’m Hailey. This is me. →

We each have soul work. Work that we are meant to do to make an impact on this world. Our own way to make a difference. It may not be big (although it might be), but it is important.

I believe that our lives teach us and lead us to our soul work, but it our choice to answer the call. This work may not be easy but it is worth it.

I created this community as a place for people who want to answer that call. You may not know how at the moment, but you feel your soul calling you towards something. Say yes!

Our society is not set up for soul work. We are taught from a young age to conform and fit in. Do your work. Get good grades. Find a good job. Be content with your life. That’s not contentment! That’s complacency!

Since you are reading this, I’m sure you know that there is more to life than just what society wants from us. But it takes a lot to overcome what we are taught.

You must reeducate yourself on how to make an impact and find your soul work. I can help!

Who am I?

My acceptance of my soul work has been 10 years coming.I spent so much time trying to be like other people.

All this time, I’ve felt a yearning. Like there was something more for me out there. But all this time, I would not accept my own path since it was different from other’s paths.

Once I finally accepted that I had soul work to do, everything started falling into place. All of my various interests were not so varied anymore. They are all parts to a greater whole that is my soul work. This site is one of those pieces. And so is my crazy dream of moving into a van like this one:

Sportsmobile Van RV I know. My parents have already informed me that I’m crazy.

But its all a part of the whole.

My goal is to help people find their soul work and learn how to make an impact.

Steve Jobs put it nicely:

Life can be much broader once you discover one simple fact, and that is, everything around you that you call life was made up by people that were no smarter than you … the minute that you understand that you can poke life … that you can change it, you can mould it … that’s maybe the most important thing.

Hailey – I found you (or did you find me – lol) and Im glad I did. You fire me up and inspired me. It interesting I did a google search using words: naysayer and greatness.
My dream is a God dream and it’s colliding with the status quo. I didnt ask for this dream God gave it to me. And as a believer I had to be obedient. I went public with the epic dream and the naysayers got loud and some got downright ugly but I was expecting that because Jesus was involved. Anyway please email me anything or any words you have on how epic dreamers deal with naysayers. Thanks and God Bless You – You Rock!!!

    Hi Jon,

So glad you found me. Naysayers can be tough. I’ve found that the more important the dream is, the more naysayers you get. For me, the key to naysayers is to get some cheerleaders. Find a group of people who can cheer you on. Then when you feel down dealing with the naysayers, turn to your cheerleaders to bring you up again.

Glad you like the site and hope I can help!

I stumbled upon this website when I googled content vs complacency. I found lots of interesting ideas. And I also liked the fonts. <3
